Tasmanian Sport Census

The Tasmanian Sport Census captures key membership, participant and workforce data annually from peak sport and active recreation organisations.

Data from the Census assists to inform investment, infrastructure planning, strategy and policy, as well as development and capacity building activities for the sport and active recreation sector.

State Sporting Organisations, State Active Recreation Providers, and National Sporting Organisations operating in a unitary or one management structure in Tasmania are invited to complete the Census each year through the Game Plan portal.

The Tasmanian Sport Census for 2026 is open for completion until 14 October.
