Outdoor recreation and adventure activities are a popular pastime in Tasmania. Active Tasmania supports the sport and recreation sector to provide opportunities for all Tasmanians to participate in community life, sport and recreation.
The Australian Adventure Activity Standard (standard) and Good Practice Guides are voluntary guidelines for providers to enhance safety and enjoyment of outdoor recreation and adventure activities. The Standard and Good Practice Guides have been developed by the Outdoor Council of Australia.
